Introduction

CUG CIC is a registered Community Interest Company dedicated to uplifting and supporting individuals and families within our local community. We believe that everyone deserves access to essential resources, compassionate support, and opportunities to thrive. Through community fundraising, generous physical donations, and financial contributions, we work tirelessly to provide practical help to those facing hardship. From clothing and food support to outreach initiatives and community events, our mission is rooted in unity, dignity, and real-world impact. Together with our volunteers, partners, and supporters, we are building a stronger, more connected community—one act of kindness at a time.

Our mission

CUG CIC is dedicated to strengthening communities through outreach, fundraising and partnership. We work to provide resources, support and opportunities for growth to individuals and organisations in need.

Events

Community

CUG CIC delivers youth-focused programmes and community engagement initiatives aimed at supporting underrepresented, disadvantaged and marginalised individuals, particularly young people aged 16-30.

Our activities benefit the community by:

Empowering Youth: Providing mentoring, life skills and leadership programmes to help young people build confidence, discover potential and make positive life choices.

Creating Opportunities: Offering access to creative, digital and entrepreneurial workshops that open up real career pathways and reduce unemployment.

Promoting Social Inclusion: Engaging hard-to-reach individuals through culturally relevant events, safe spaces and support systems, reducing anti-social behaviour and isolation.

Championing Community Voice: Encouraging young people and local residents to co-design projects and lead initiatives that reflect lived experiences and needs.

Improving Well-being: Supporting mental health, identity and belonging through holistic activities that include art, sport, tech and nature-led interventions.

CUG CIC ensures our benefits reach a wide and diverse audience through targeted efforts in economically deprived areas. We regularly assess impact and gather feedback from participants and partners, adapting our services to meet emerging community needs.

Our Partners

We are pleased to be collaborating with South Thames College, whose commitment to community engagement and social responsibility will play a key role in supporting our fundraising efforts. The Petersville Foundation will be assisting where possible, offering support and guidance in response to the devastating effects of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica. Finally, but not least we are proud to announce a partnership with the Avenues Youth Project; a long running charity that provide informal education and recreational oppertunities for local children and young people. Together, these partners bring valuable experience, resources, and compassion to help raise vital funds and contribute to relief and recovery efforts for affected communities.
